Our crew are on hand to provide expert tips and advice on fishing and sightseeing locations. Boats are available for private and commercial hire.

No Licence Required – How good is that! Our boats have central console driving systems and are easy to handle. You don’t need to have a marine licence to drive, you just need to be at least 18 years of age. There’s also the option to hire a skipper if you prefer.

  • Driver Requirements: No marine licence required, but the driver / hirer must be aged at least 18 years old.
  • Infants & Children: Infants can sit on parents' lap. Children aged 2 years old and upwards must have their own seat. Children aged 12 years and under must wear a life jacket. Life jackets are provided and included in the boat hire rate.
  • WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE VESSEL: Cairns Boat Hire’s wheelchair accessible pontoon boat is perfect for a day of sightseeing or fishing on the stunning Trinity Inlet. The access ramp has been designed to allow access for wider chairs and allows for boarding and disembarkation from our Marina base in Cairns
  • Child Booking Inclusions: Children aged 8 Years and under must wear a life jacket, which is supplied.
  • If you book a skipper please note skippers take a seat in your vessel.
Cancellation Policy
  • 50% refund for cancellations made within 48hours of tour departure
  • No refund for cancellations made within 24hrs of departure
